Altitude: Bakuriani is situated at 1,700 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Trialeti Range. This altitude creates a perfect balance between mountain and maritime climates.
History: Development of the resort began in the late 19th century. Notably, the historic narrow-gauge railway (known as "Kukushka") was designed by Gustave Eiffel. |
